What is Creative Cutting Class?

Creative Cutting Class is a monthly skills building membership community for women who are on a fashion creation journey and need help learning or developing their pattern making skills. From complete newbie through to those wanting to learn and experiment with more advanced pattern making techniques, Creative Cutting Class is the place to develop your skills and build friendships with like minded women.

Who is Creative Cutting Class For?

Creative Cutting Class is for women looking to be more creative in their clothes making plans. You are excited to take basic blocks and create patterns from them, whether they are traditional and simple, or more creative and avant-garde. 

Who is Creative Cutting Class NOT For?

Creative Cutting Class is not for men. Other than that, if you have a keen interest in pattern making, you are welcome to join us!

How Much Time Will It Take?

A frequent question is 'how much time will I need to spend?' and truth be told it is entirely up to you. If you only have half an hour a day your progress will be slower than someone who can spend three hours or more per day. That is the nature of learning. If you are happy to invest less time, and see slower results then Creative Cutting Class will be great for you. That said, most of the areas within Creative Cutting Class will be available forever to members - it is only some of the masterclasses that will be removed in time, to make way for new masterclasses and to declutter the learning area.

How Much Is Creative Cutting Class?

Creative Cutting Class is a monthly membership costing between £17 and £47 per month - the cost is dependent on how quickly you sign up! For the early founding members it is slightly less per month, as they are helping to create something amazing, and then when the site launches fully on September 18th, it will go up to £67 per month with a £129 joining fee too.

• £17 per month for the first 10 members (ALL SPACES NOW SOLD)
• £27 per month for members 11-20 (ALL SPACES NOW SOLD)
• £37 per month for members 21-30
• £47 per month for each member 31-40
• £57 per month for all other members

As each price point fills up, it will be raised by £10 a month. This is because I want to limit the number of members to those who REALLY want to be part of the community and learn skills each month, while making it affordable for those early members who might have struggled with the higher fee.

I will be providing so much value at this price point that I really want to be working with women who are invested in learning new skills and being part of an online creative community. I will be IN the community every day during office hours - and sneaking in at other times too! :)

Is It Going To Be Worth My Money?

Absolutely! Although Creative Cutting Class is light on content at the moment having only just soft-launched, it will become the best online resource for anyone wanting to learn pattern making skills in an online environment. 

If you want to be in on something amazing, before everyone else, jump on board!

Can I Afford The Monthly Members Fee?

Only YOU can answer this. If you sign up during the founding member period, you will be locked in at that lower price until you choose to cancel your membership. And you can cancel at any time.

One person described the monthly member's fee as costing "less than a night out with the girls", and as a member you get access 24 hours a day to the community of women, so it's ALMOST like a never ending night out! :)

How Can I Pay?

You can click the 'become a member here' button on the Creative Cutting Class page. Here you can pay by debit or credit card, and the payment is secure, taken care of by Stripe.

You can also pay by PayPal recurring payments by visiting creativecuttingclass.com and clicking the 'Join Here' button in the menu. I will then manually enrol you in the membership, usually within 2 hours.

Can I Cancel My Membership?

Totally! If you log in to your account on Creative Cutting Class, there is an option to cancel your subscription. You will still have access up until the day before your next payment would have been due, unless you request a refund.

Example: You joined on 5th August. Payments will be due on the 5th of each month. If you cancel on 7th December, you will continue to have access until the 4th January unless you requested a refund.

Do You Offer A Refund?

Of course. If after joining you decide that Creative Cutting Class isn't for you, you can cancel your account, send me an email confirming this, and I will refund the initial monthly membership fee. The joining fee itself will not be refundable. This is to prevent people from signing up, binge-consuming all the lessons, and then asking for a full refund.

For members who have been around after the first month, there will only be a refund for that month's fees.

Will You Be Offering Scholarships?

At some point in the future, when there is revenue to support it, Creative Cutting Class will offer 1 year scholarship possibilities to women from around the world who would usually find it financially impossible to participate.

Why? For me, being able to teach a skill that can be used as a trade is an incredible way of empowering women, and opening up new opportunities for them, and I hope to be able to do more of this in the future.
